At the Berliner Wein Trophy, the largest international wine competition, Cantine Riondo has won two new recognitions, with its Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG 2017 CASALFORTE and Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG 2017 RIONDO, which won gold medal at the tasting in April.

These results confirm the great dedication with which COLLIS, the Veneto-based cooperative led by Cantine Riondo, organizes and enhances the work of more than 2000 winemaking members on 6000 hectares of vineyards in the most dedicated areas.

Casalforte Amarone della Valpolicella is a full-bodied wine with a deep pomegranate hue. Like Amarone, Riondo is striking for its complex bouquet of cinnamon, cherry preserves, brandied fruit, and walnuts, presenting the palate with black cherry, spicy vanilla, and coffee.

The grapes grow in areas dedicated to Valpolicella, where they are also vinified. Cantine Riondo then commercializes the bottled wines in Italy and 60 other countries around the world.

This organizational model has been able to enhance work in the field while guaranteeing equitable pay for associates and profitable commercial outlets.

Cantine Riondo is present in Italy and elsewhere with the brands RIONDO, CASALFORTE, BURTI, LUNARDI, CECCATO, and iSPRITZ.
